Love what you do with Dede Griesbauer
Friday Jul 15, 2022
Friday Jul 15, 2022
Dede Griesbauer is an American Triathlete who currently lives and trains in Boulder, CO. In 2011, Dede had a near career-ending crash during IRONMAN Germany. She broke six bones; an elbow, two ribs, her pelvis in two places, and her hip. She was told she'd never run again.
However, Dede had other plans and was back on the race course, competing in 2012. Dede is a three-time top ten finisher at the IRONMAN World Championships in KONA. In 2020, she won Ultraman Florida, setting a world record for the Ultraman distance of 22 hours, 48 minutes, and 31 seconds.
Even today, at 52 years young, Dede's passion for what she does, perseverance, and laser focus help her compete against (and beat!) people 10 - 20+ years younger than her. Listen to Dede's story to learn more about the motivations, learnings, and routines that make her one of the most consistent performers triathlon has ever seen.

Be Brave - Andrea Peet with Meredith Atwood
Thursday Jun 23, 2022
Thursday Jun 23, 2022
By 2013, Andrea Peet had run a marathon and done nine triathlons, including a 70.3-mile half IRONMAN. In 8 months, she went from the strongest she'd ever been to walking with a cane – as she was diagnosed with ALS in May 2014, at 33 years old. ALS is a debilitating disease for which there is no treatment or cure.
Andrea realized that if there was something she wanted to accomplish, the time was now.
Andrea Peet's journey began in 2016 at the Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach, Va., though most of her races were completed in the last three years. Along the way, Peet has raised over $850,000 for the Team Drea Foundation, an organization she co-founded in 2016 that supports ALS research efforts. Andrea most recently achieved her goal of running a marathon in all 50 states.
Listen in to Andrea and Meredith as they take you through her incredible journey on Find Your Finish Line.
